Oh, Susan, you make a poll by clicking the "customize" button at the top right corner of the blog. Then there will be a page layout for the blog. There will be a number of gadgets on the right side. Click on the button that lets you add a gadget and choose "poll." You will be able to make a poll about anything you want. Hope that helps!
